This ensures that every drop of water delivered to your home or business meets state and federal health and safety standards. We are proud to include our Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) for you. This is a report that is produced on a yearly basis to inform our customers of the quality of their drinking water during the past year. East Pasadena Water Company diligently tests your water on a weekly basis. We have again met or exceeded all Health Department standards during 2009. The 2009 Consumer Confidence Report has just been released, please look for your copy with your next bill, or click the link below to view it. The California Department of Public Health has determined that the following wording should have been included in the 2009 Consumer Confidence Report you received with your last billing statement. If present, elevated levels of led can cause serious health problems, especially for pregnant women and young children. Lead in drinking water is primarily from materials and components associated with service lines and home plumbing. East Pasadena Water Company is responsible for providing high quality drinking water, but cannot control the variety of materials used in plumbing components. When your water has been sitting for several hours, you can minimize the potential for lead exposure by flushing your tap for 30 seconds to 2 minutes before using water for drinking or cooking. If you are concerned about lead in your water, you may wish to have your water tested. Information on lead in drinking water, testing methods, and steps you can take to minimize exposure is available from the Safe Drinking Water Hotline or at http://www.epa.gov/safewater/lead. 2009 Annual Consumer Confidence Report 2008 Annual Consumer Confidence Report |
