Current Rates
East Pasadena Water Company's rates are set by the California Public Utilities Commission. Our last rate general rate increase went into effect July 17, 2009.
On June 12, 2012 East Pasadena Water Company filed Advice Letter No. 76 with the CPUC. The following rates are the increase as authorized by the CPUC Decision No. 92-03-093. These new rates reflect an increase of 3% to offset the increase in the Consumer Price Index of 2011.

In addition to the Service Charge, all customers are billed a commodity charge which is the amount charged for each 100 cubic feet of water (ccf). the current price per ccf is $1.813 regardless of the amount of water used, and regardless if you are a residential or commercial customer.
A dripping faucet or fixture can waste three gallons of water a day, a total of 1,095 gallons of water a year.
Below is a chart to demonstrate what a seemingly small leak can cost you. A continuous leak delivered at 60 psi (pounds per square inch) would, over a two-month period waste water in the amount shown.
